Annual general meeting 2026

The Sheridan Tennis & Pickleball Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday November 11, 2026 at the Lorne Park Hall at 1288 Lorne Park Road L5H 3A9. This meeting will start at 6pm.
All members are welcome to attend. Get a direct voice in shaping decisions, electing leadership, and reviewing the financial health of our Club.
Key Reasons to Attend

Vote on Leadership: Positions for President, Vice-President, Treasurer are open . Cast your ballot to elect or re-elect your leaders who make choices on your behalf.

Review Financials: See how money was spent .

Hold Boards Accountable: Ask direct questions to leaders

Help Reach Quorum: Meet the minimum attendance or proxy requirement so the group can legally vote and conduct business.

Influence Rules and Bylaws: Vote on proposed changes to the core rules or bylaws that govern your Club.

Do you or know someone who wants to be part of the Board of Directors. Nomination forms are available on the Sheridantennis.ca website. There will be pizza and door prizes for those in attending.

Fall is almost here. Another tennis & pickleball outdoor season is almost over. Scheduled programming are coming to a close. Drop-In times for pickleball and tennis will continue to the end of October.
The Board of Directors hopes everyone enjoyed the season and improved their game with old and new acquaintances. The City's planned resurfacing project for the pickleball courts may still happen.
To help close out the season, come out on Sat Sept 19, 9am-1pm for a morning of pickleball and tennis play and camaraderie and submarine sandwiches. Members can sign up in the Club's registration portal. Rain date if needed on Sun Sept 20.

The public is invited to use the Sheridan Tennis & Pickleball Club courts for either tennis or pickleball.
Weather permitting. Bring your own equipment.

During the 2026 outdoor season, the City of Mississauga will be resurfacing the pickleball courts at the Sheridan Tennis Club. The tennis courts are not affected. When the work starts, the pickleball courts will be out of order for about 2 weeks depending on the weather, as good weather is needed for the new surface and paint to dry. The closure of these courts is not expected to significantly affect programming. The City controls the timing of the resurfacing. We will let everyone know when this happens.
